Just heard that on Sirius XM NFL Blitz. Said if they didn't get Dalton, they would have gotten Yates in the 3rd or 4th round.

They have a good eye for QB's. At this moment, looks like those are two of the better QB's avaliable for them to draft from last years draft.

I'm convinced that 31 other teams wanted him... It was just a matter of where they wanted to draft him.... Texans had the balls to draft him before any other team.

i swear i heard kubiak or smith say they gave him a third rd grade but couldn't pass him in the fifth, i swear but no proof. trent dilfer did have him as his sleeper qb after the draft. heard that on radio and yet again no proof. not sayin anything just sayin

I admit 100% that I was like "WTH?" with this pick.

I wasn't mad about it, since my taste buds were still tingling with what we picked up in Rounds 1, 2, 3, and 4...I was just thinking, "Is this like the obligatory Dave Ragone or Jared Zabransky pick right here? Oh, well...OK. Whatever."

Had zero clue that North Carolina could produce a QB of any real value to the NFL. LOL. Whoopsie....:smiliepalm:
