Enjoyed the read especially after you got past the fluff questions by fans. Your questions were more valuable ie: blocking, ZBS, fumbling. Good interview and thanks for sharing the results. How did you establish your initial contact with him prior to the draft? He does seem to be a good guy and I hope he brings us a great player we can depend on.

I just emailed his publicist. Did that with plenty of the guys I thought were on the Texans radar, but his is the only one who replied to me. Did that first interview and the questions were met with pretty basic answers (or fluff, like you said) and he told me off the record that if the Texans drafted him, he would give me another interview and try not to be so cut and dry with his answers. So, naturally, after we drafted him, I got in touch with her the next day. Took a little while to get an open spot in his schedule, but he lived up to his promise. Nice dude. And his publicist, Emily, is a very nice lady. She's also Brian Cushing's publicist, so that's my next effort. Sure it will be a little while before I can get one with him though. They're still in damage control right now.

I originally posted this in the basketball forum, but for some more shameless self-promotion, I've started a podcast show for both my Rockets site and my Texans site a couple weeks ago and they're up now (The first two shows of each).

Luv Ya Steel Blue (Texans): http://zepp1978.podbean.com/category/texans/
    &

Get The Red Out (Rockets): http://zepp1978.podbean.com/category/rockets/

And you can just go here for whenever new shows are added: http://zepp1978.podbean.com/

If you guys want to give it a listen, I'd appreciate the hell out of it and I'll hook you up with a Shiner or something at a tailgate this fall. Thanks guys! I seriously appreciate it.
