ala warren sapp, randy moss? ,maybe if rumor true
He will drop now, but will he drop to 15? And do you go up a few spots to grab him?
I doubt he drops, and there isn't anyone slated to go in the first round that I'd move up for.
Look for a lot of the second and third rounders to turn out better than the first rounders from this years crop.
I think he easily drops.......if this wasn't his first positive test, he might be able to get the benefit of the doubt, but it's his second, which is going to scare alot of teams.
I think if Houston wants him, he'll now be there at 15.......but two positive tests even scare me.
14 teams should absolutely turn their eyes away from this shameful, despicable person! You teams ahead of us make me proud and don't you dare select him. I mean it. hehehe, snicker and "At # 15 the Houston Texans select B.J. Raji!" Thank you Jesus!
Him testing positive while at BC doesn't sound right...
"There is a time and a place for everything and it's called college."
Smoking the marijuana in college has no effect on whether or not a team selects you. Point and case: Amobi Okoye, Houston Texans, selected 10th overall only 2 drafts back.
If he drops to 15 he would make for some tasty trade bait. Or.....sign him up!
Dangit... why does one of my favorite prospects this year have to be a pothead!?
I wonder what test they used. If they tested his hair then the positive result could be from up to a year ago.
Lets bow our heads and prey to the football gods this comes true.
He's way overrated. I didn't have him as a first round prospect prior to this. Now, I will give him the benefit of the doubt on the weed because I stayed with Talib last year. However, Talib was a first round talent. Raji isn't IMO. He also sat out the entire 2007 season because of academic issues. Wouldn't touch him in the draft, in any round. Period.
This case and Amobi's case aren't even comparable...
First of all, Amobi didn't fail a drug test, he was asked during the interview process at the combine and he answered honestly that he did experiment with Marijauna while in college. (no failed drug tests...he put everything out in the open himself) Teams appreciated that honesty and also took into consideration that he was a 16 year old kid in college.
B.J. Raji never admitted to smoking Marijuana......he just flat out flunked a drug test during his biggest job interview of his life and this was after teams were warned about another flunked drug test a year before.
Raji's and Amobi's cases are apples and oranges, especially if Raji lied about his drug use during the interview process only to have the flunked drug test come out later.
The NFL doesn't do follicle tests (I learned more than I need to know from Chris Cooley's blog), it's too easy for them to catch idiots already....and much cheaper too.
This guys stock is going to plummet.
He has tested positive for drugs twice. To show up at the combine and test positive? Thats just plain stupid.
He also missed an entire season because of academic problems and has had problems with his coaches.
A lot of major red flags
If you're Raji, you've got to ask yourself, "WHAT WERE YOU THINKIN', FOOL!!!!" You're FOREWARNED of the testing....................FOOL!!!!!!!!
id take him at 15 especialy so we can finaly have someone replace travis johnson
I don't think he'll fall to 15, if he falls at all it'll only be 1 or 2 spots, if he did fall to 15 though we'd be fools not to take him. Raji is a game changer/difference maker that would anchor our line for years to come.
Now thats funny!
Not enough red flags to pass on a top five talent at 15.
Separate names with a comma.
