Cowboys picked up Ayodele, another team picked up Fujita. Both received contracts in the range of 15 million for 4 years or so. I would have loved to sign Ayodele

I read on the Jags MB that Del Rio was interviewed earlier and losing Akin doesn't seem to be bothering him. According to some posters over there, Akin underperformed last season, and some over there said he is more suited for the 3-4.

so 4 years at 14 mil is peanuts? if we would have signed them to a contract like that half of the board would be losing their marbles about us overpaying.

It was five years 17 mil with a 5 mil s/b and that's nothing for a starting LB.

Compare that to what the Texans gave Silent Greenwood a year ago: Five-years, $22.5 million, including a $7 million signing bonus

That's because he's not worth 4 years and 14 million. He's a below average LB.
