i searched, can't find this anywhere on the forum. (of course nothing i search for is ever found on the forum). So if this is a repeat please delete. They are as up to date as Colvin and they do mention Gibbs. Lists Weary as starter still not Brisel. Gray is still on his acquisition list. Might be worth a read.

    i like this mistake:

easy to make that error since he played like a second year pro last year!

    pretty thorough analysis overall.

He used callow to describe Molden. Directionally correct, but such a tough choice of word to use.

I did not know that Travis Johnson makes the French laugh.

Thanks for sharing, admirable copy for this time of the year.

Good read! Thanks for posting it.

This part was particularly interesting because I hadn't thought of these guys from this point of view.

That's okay - he made up for it by referring to Amobi's upper body power as coruscating. He seems to like Amobi quite a lot.

Agreed that this is a good article, and thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Here is my favorite line. It is about Travis Johnson.

"For the most part, Johnson has been a bust, thanks to attitude problems and a work ethic that would make even the French laugh."

I went back and checked the related articles - since they'd done such a good job with us - and found this interesting tidbit regarding how we stack up in the division in various catagories. Well, *I* thought it was interesting.

I can't quibble with our running game or pass defense being rated last. And while it p*sses me off that our coaching staff is rated lowest I guess W/L record says how effective your coaching is, soooo.....

    Quick Hits
    Team Bests
Passing Game 1 Colts, 2 Texans, 3 Jaguars, Titans
Running Game 1 Jaguars, 2 Colts, 3 Titans, 4 Texans
Offensive Line 1 Colts, 2 Jaguars, 3 Texans, 4 Titans
Pass Rush 1 Colts, 2 Texans, 3 Titans, 4 Jaguars
Run Defense 1 Jaguars, 2 Texans, 3 Titans, 4 Colts
Pass Defense 1 Colts, 2 Jaguars, 3 Titans, 4 Texans
Special Teams 1 Texans, 2 Jaguars, 3 Titans, 4 Colts
Coaching Staff 1 Colts, 2 Jaguars, 3 Titans, 4 Texans
Front Office 1 Colts, 2 Texans, 3 Jaguars, 4 Titans
Home Field Advantage 1 Colts, 2 Texans, 3 Titans, 4 Jaguars

    Player Bests

    Pure Athlete Andre Johnson, Texans
Big Play Threat Vince Young, Titans
Gets Most out of Talent Kyle Vanden Bosch, Titans
Gets Least out of Talent Matt Jones, Jaguars

    Breakout Prospects Fred Bennett, Texans
    Tony Ugoh, Colts
    Amobi Okoye, Texans

Breakdown Prospects Ahman Green, Texans (let's hope this is way wrong)
    Reggie Hayward, Jaguars
Jeff Zgonina, Texans (I'm not sure he makes the final cut anyhow)

    Best Leader Peyton Manning, Colts
    Unsung Hero Ryan Diem, Colts
Impact Veteran Acquisition Jerry Porter, Jaguars
Impact Rookie Duane Brown, LT, Texans (let's hope this is way RIGHT!)

    Houston, again.
Our coaching staff last?????? Not sure how that was graded, but it doesn't feel right.

Least experienced, and probably has more losses on their record than the other 3 coaches I can see where they get that. I'm sorry, but when you've got Tony Dungy and Jeff Fisher in your division, your coaching staff is probably going to be 3rd or 4th.

    It's a fair ranking.

The Titans play great run D when Fat Albert is in the middle. I'd put us behind them.

Everyone should read the review on the Titans. It's hilarious and kind of sad...

The most in-depth Texans article I have seen in a very long time. Good read. I can't wait for training camp. :texflag:
