Another local kid does good

    Some of you may not be aware of this guy (Bruce Almighty) but I've been following him for a while.

    He's getting good pub on ESPN and could be a mid to late 1st round pick.

    I watched him play in HS at Clear Creek. His Dad was the Oilers OL Bruce Davis.

    He's not bad but I would prefer Evan Almighty if I was going to use a first round pick.

    I didn't mean "lets draft him."

    I was just sharing info on a local kid who's done well.

    Unfortunately, the "hometown" thing only seems to apply when they play for UT. :)

    That's good for him, but a little disappointing to me. He's the kind of pass rushing specialist that I was hoping might be available to the Texans in the 3rd or 4th round. I don't think Davis is an everydown DE (though the Colts get by with Robert Mathis). But, Davis could help on passing downs at RDE while learning the OLB position.
