If he parts ways with Philly, do you think he'll be a head coach again?
I don't think Philly will let him go. If they part company he will be a HC again if he wants to. His teams are too sound too consistently to not get an offer.
How much of that is Reid and how much of that is good scouting and drafting?
You could argue with the consistently good talent they have there, that the team has actually underperformed....
The Eagles are the Oilers/Titans of the NFC. Years and history of being competitive, good enough some years to win the Super Bowl but always finish choking when it is all said and done.
Speaking of the Oilers/Titans Reid is a lot like Jeff Fisher. Consistently good enough to not get fired but never getting it done. He probably will end up like Fisher and will eventually get let go. Also don't be surprised if Jeff Fisher replaces him.
Jeff Fisher's all time record against the NFC East is real strong.
Fisher's record vs NFC East
vs Eagles 4-0
vs Giants 5-0
vs Skins 3-2
vs Cowboys 3-2
That's 15-4 all time vs NFC East teams. His style of play does real well in that division. Watch him end up with the Eagles or Cowboys.
The only job Reid would take is BYU. He more or less said this sometime ago.
I think he'd get the part of mustashe pig in the live action Angry Birds movie.
