Great news, and well-deserved.
Wow, what a dream team. Can you imagine if those guys ever played together.? *drool*
The only guy I don't really agree with is Cortland Finnegan. IMO there are better CBs out there
I watched AJ abuse him in the last Tenn game
Congrats to AJ! Not unexpected, but still a great honor. Let's hope it's the first of several in a row!
I thought the selections were good overall. I have a personal vendetta against Finnegan, so that's the one I would take off. And let's face it, I could probably be named to the pro-bowl with the front 4 they have.
next step: all-galaxy
Well deserved for the best receiver in the game. This guy's going to be the first Texan Hall of Famer that actually played a game for the Texans.
Congrats to AJ, and may many more follow.
What amazing is that he could put up even better numbers if Schaub stays healthy and we convert better in the redzone. Way to go AJ!!!
Andre is the man!!!!!
How the hell does Mario not even make the 2nd team? Now that is bull sh*t!
Clady made it as a rookie. Impressive.
Congrats to AJ. It's a well deserved honor.
all four of the players listed had sensational years...hard to kick any one of them off for Mario if you axe me.
AJ is the bomb!!!!
No ifs, ands, or buts about it, he was the best receiver hands down this season if not the best player in the league.
Congrats AJ, a great season and a class act.
When the Texans become winners, Mario will be an All Pro. The same would have been said of AJ, had not his numbers been too overwhelming to deny.
Andre Johnson, Houston, 45; Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona, 21; Steve Smith, Carolina, 16; Wes Welker, New England, 6; Anquan Boldin, Arizona, 5; Roddy White, Atlanta, 4; Brandon Marshall, Denver, 1; Randy Moss, New England, 1; Calvin Johnson, Detroit, 1.
AJ led voting among all WRs and had > twice the total of All-Pro teammate Larry Fitzgerald, who finished in second place among WRs.
This link lists the voting totals for all who received any votes for the All-Pro team.
Mario was second team all-pro last season.
Yeah, and I just took a look at the stats and hadn't realized that Peppers had 14.5 sacks and Abraham had 16.5. Allen obviously deserved to get in, as much as I hate saying that. The only guy who I believe should not have made it over Mario is Justin Tuck. I think he made it in more because he was the "big name" this season because of the job he did filling in for Umenyiora.
Oh well! Congrats to AJ. Best WR in the game IMO.
