    Vernon Davis is always open.

    Wasn't Shea the TE that caught a pass that landed on his knees on the last game of the season against Aaron Glenn in '05? Or did he take the ball away from Glenn?

    He is considered a better pass catcher, but is only mediocore overall. Honestly, he would be only a slight upgrade over what we are doing now.

    The San Diego Chargers have announced the team has signed free agent TE Aaron Shea (Browns) to a three-year deal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

    Good for the Chargers. They don't need him but atleast we don't have him. I don't think he would've done much for our team if we did sign him.

    Maybe they're planning on using two TE sets instead of always going to Gates?
