    Here's a nugget:

Some of you have probably read this but it's new to me and well-written. A nod is given to Texans Chick and a subtle raspberry to John McClain.

Hey JF, I haven't read it or clicked on it but when it states that Capers switched to a 3-4 at some point to combat Peyton Manning...I kind of lost interest. I don't think this guy is gonna be too insightful based on that nugget of nonsense. Thanks for the piece though.

Gotta agree. Read that and was like WTF!?!?!?!?!?! when the hell did that ever happen.

Writer's who can't keep the simple stuff right are not worth reading and might just be talking out of their asses.

I agree with Vinny. If he can't get our history right with regards to our defense, I can't take too much of his 'insight' too serious.

FWIW, we were a 3-4 for four years, and this is our first year as a 4-3. Basic information pertaining to our short history.

Yeah, the Texans ran a 3-4 from the word jump. But I agree that the Texans under Capers and Casserly never managed to field a credible DL and OL, units that could pressure the QB and protect the QB respectively.

Yeah, I was a little confused about the 3-4 thing.

I'm not AS hardcore fan as you guys are...but I at least know that we've always had the Super Duper Incredible Indestructible 3-4 Defense for a loooong time.

That was a weird statement. I wonder why or how the author could have made such a mistake?

September 2002 v. Dallas Cowboys, starting linebackers were Jamie Sharper, Jay Foreman, Kailee Wong and Jeff Posey ---- that being the 4 of the 3-4. Someone correct me if I'm wrong....
