Don't know a THING about this guy.
Except he's 5' 11" and only 170#.
Alan Bonner Pro Day -
There's a whole channel about him on YouTube -
Short, light, and slow. I can see why they took him.
Eh I'm left uninspired
He was listed at 5'10 193 at the combine.
I think I'm OK with this pick.
I'm looking at him as a returner and a slot guy.
I'm going to go on record and say that in 2 years he'll be our next LeStar Jean. A Preseason Flash in the pan. Probably will just hold a roster spot until Posey gets of the PUP list if anything
Why not go with Rogers if you go WR?
Read that he returned 87 punts for an average of 24.5yd per return.
Good vision or just luck and poor competition?
I don't think this guy is worth a pick as a receiver. However, if he turns out to be a good returner, it'll end up being a very good pick. If.
Jacoby/Holliday replacement. Special Teams adjustment completely off the board per BPA.
Apparently the issues with Rogers were just too great. He's fallen this far for a reason. He wasn't nearly as high on the teams' boards as he was on the Pundits' boards.
The dude had a game of 10 rec, 235 yards, 5 tds vs UT Martin .
Yep ... it's not just the Texans passing on him .
Figured about his background, just seems like a wasted pick trying to make roster or practice squad spot. Though Rogers might go UDFA anyway.
Bonner on 610 now
The purpose of this pick may be to simply push K-Mart.
