What are the fastest/slowest times?? I read in the paper a while back that someone ran a 3.92 or something. Is this true??

3.92? No, i can't imagine a guy running that fast. Mathis ran 4.28, which is darn fast!

I think that 3.92 was by Justin Gatlin or however you spell it...but i'm not sure...

didnt he have a try-out with the texans a while back? After he got expelled from the olympics or something?

Gatlin isn't even a football player. He is a sprinter and runs the 100 meters in under 9.8.

Fastest I've ever heard is Joey Galloway's well-documented 4.17 at Ohio State.

I wouldn't even consider anything that was hand-timed. Not any more.

I heard that with the advances in sports medicine we're making these days, it's likely that 5 seconds in the 100m dash is quite likely in the future (for a human). I'm off the subject, I know..but I thought that was pretty cool.

I can definitely believe Bo Jackson having the fasted 40 time. Man he was great. I don't even know what the NFL would have been to watch him and Barry play against each other. Oh the dreams.
