From the Chron story. Jonathan Joseph:
"We could easily be standing here and be 6-0 today."
He's right. I was thinking the same thing earlier. But that's what's gotten me so mad. This team has won nearly every single game this year.
Right. They could easily be 6-0, but the reality is they lost half their games. Now they are hanging their hats on the remaining schedule where they could easily go 10-0, but in reality...
I know, I know. 13-3 until proven otherwise.
Pretty funny really.
Coulda, shoulda, woulda.
That might be just as good as Kevin Walter saying "We deserve to be a playoff team."
“We feel we are a playoff-caliber team, we deserve to be one.”
Lol. You're a bad man.
No. We are in second place. Period.
Fortunately this isn't life or death and it actually feels good to laugh.
On the flight home, Mr McNair had 'participation' ribbons (in steel blue, liberty white and battle red) attached to the assigned seating and next to the juice boxes. I hear that got them pumped up.
I think Cushing would have to admit that juice got him pumped.
Repped for originality.
...hey, that's kind of like a ribbon and juicebox for you isn't it?
you just HAD to go there didn't you
Don't make Brown break your eye socket.
Wait! What?? Did he fall down again?
At least no player said,* "Looking at the schedule at the beginning of the year we predicted 3-3, so it's all good".
*at least I assume no player said that...
.500 never looked so...well...familiar...
DB! We're 3-3.....
Those kids have a lot of heart; they're battling and they're fighting - they're battle fighting.
"Gary is on the right track."
