Shotgun formation, no backs. 'Nuff said.
I don't know. The Texans were 16 for 16 for the season on third and one before that. So that was their first failed conversion. I can't fault that play
I just can't find a way to justify not using the best RB in the league.
They were trying to use him. Schaub just made a bad pass.
Bad pass by Shaub, we had the 1st.
Used him on the next play. How'd that work?
Everyone and their mother predicted that play call.
They also predicted it would be the call on 3rd down, and we ended up with guys wide open on a pass play.
a bad throw by a qb who doesn't know how to play unless behind by 21 pts or who no call no shows the first half. take your pick, the play was there
He's been doing this **** all year.
We have the dumbest coach in the NFL and the dumbest owner also.
HEY BOB!.....Call up all of those other owners who don't want you to win and ask them if you're still on the right track.. After they bullshit you and after you eat that crap up like the dumbass sucker that you are, I'm sure you'll sleep better tonight.
3rd and short: whether you run the ball or not, you should have one of the 5 best RBs in the NFL lined up in the backfield to threaten the run. Even if you love an empty backfield play, Foster could've motioned out of the backfield pre-snap. Huge mistake! Schaub doesn't posess enought athleticism back there to keep the defensive front honest.
