Mad props to the defense today, shutting down those would be playoff bound Jags 21 - 0. Great Job defense. It seems like the 3-4 really paid off today by creating great pressure up front by Walker, Payne and Smith (Smith was sensational). This allowed the linebackers to blitz Leftwich and gang tackle the rookie RB Greg Jones, forcing the ball into the teeth of the secondary. The Texans were the playoff caliber team today, great effort, game planning & exacution, the 3-4 is alive :coolb:

I agree...the 3-4 is starting to gel. With the rookies finally knowing where to go, this defense is going places.

Although..we took a hit by losing Peek for the finale-(Seperated Shoulder).

here is a really good article that sheds light on the 3-4 from a mental as well as physical viewpoint of a lineman.

it makes alot of sense, today was the first day I really saw the Texans use it effectivly for an entire game, can't wait till next year.
