What position should be drafted in the first round?

Offensive coordinator lol
Offensive linemen, one in the 1st round and two in the second round.
BPA... always BPA.
What if the BPA is a QB?
We're drafting 23rd. Would you be okay trading a 4th to move up 5 spots if needed? Or one of our 2nds & probably get to 13?
You draft the athlete & convert him to LT
I'm not a big fan of trading draft choices, so normally I'd answer no. It depends on how the draft is going.
OB, is that you?
Idgaf. Always BPA! We can either try to trade it out or select the BPA and trade him later. Besides... competition for Watson ain’t a bad thing. Our OL (by way of coaching)... probably isn’t going to keep him upright for a whole season so a backup would be reasonable.
So... whatever OL is there at 23 then? What if he isn't any good & you already know it?
Hopefully BPA is OT, CB or RB.
I'd even take a WR or LB
THEN'S when you trade.
Honestly, the draft is a crap shoot and we should all know it by now. I figure if we get three or four offensive linemen in the draft and two of them start we're improved.
Yeah. OL can be addressed in 2x2nd and 3rd, and FA. I'm probably going BPA with first 2nd rounder too.
If he's there, RT/OC, Dalton Risner- Kansas State. I could make a case for LT, Cajuste- West Virginia but he's going to go before Pick 23 rolls around. Risner could be both the best RT and OC in this draft and he's got what you would want in an OL between the ears.
Then you trade up and get the 1 you like.
Gotta protect Watson at all costs.
It's a bit ridiculous to make some hypothetical decision without any actual information on a given draft fallout.
