    1) Brian Griese did much better than Rex Grossman protecting the ball. What's that? 3 picks? Oh. Nevermind.

    2) How confusing is the AFC North? The Steelers stone the Browns. The Browns win a shootout with the Bengals. The Bengals beat the Ravens but there were some BAD calls going against the Ravens. Now the Browns just beat the Ravens. All we need now is for the Steelers to lose to the Ravens and the AFC North will be a survivor league nightmare.

    3) I know its very, very early but I would be willing to make a wager on a Dallas v. New England Superbowl. I just threw up in my mouth a little as I typed that.

    4) David Carr's QB play looks much the same in a Panthers uniform as what it did in a Texans uniform.

    5) Wow. The Detroit Freakin-Lions have a better record than we do.

    6) How weak does the rest of the AFC East look after you get past the Pats?

    7) Where the heck did Joey Harrington come from? And I'm not just talking about this week because I watched him vs. the Panthers last week. Maybe Petrino salvaged his career?

    8) Warner > Leinart? Who'd have thought that would even be a rational thought.

    9) Can we please not trot Ron Dayne out on the field anymore, especially on the goal line?

    10) Go ahead. Talk trash to referee Ed Hoculi. He dares you.

    11) 49ers need to hope Miami fires Cameron so they can hire him as OC.

Well, you're definitely right that he probably isn't going to be in SD much longer, but he isn't going to come back to SF again if he gets fired.

Yikes, I'm already thinking about candidates for OC next season. Bengals's QB coach Ken Zampese maybe?

Gaines Adams of the Bucs was dominated by a tight end for the Carolina game. he is playing miserable. there can't be a starter that's contributing less to their team than Adams right now. still, the defense is playing amazing.
