Not sure how much you can compare last year's pre-season vs this year's pre-season, but the Saints and Texans haven't lost a whole lot from a year ago when we lost 38-14 and showed signs of things to come, trouble in the redzone and poor rushing defense.

It should be a good indicator of where we stand ahead of last year, all I remember about the game was we gave up big play after big play. Hopefully we will see another dominating performance from our ones and twos without any major injuries.

What do ya'll think about comparing last year to this year, is it a fair comparison? Anything you'll be paying extra attention to?

I think it is a good small comparison. For one, I believe that we will see a defense that is playing much faster and not thinking so much. The safety play will looked more improved.

As my avatar indicates, lets get ready for round two of Demeco vs. Shockey!
6 fights last time we practiced together...I'm sure we'll see a few more.

Well all I remember from the first 3 regular season games last year was giving up big play after big play as well... and last year New Orleans thrived on big plays.

Obviously I'd like to see the same thing we saw in Arizona, but these are the Super Bowl champs we're talking about here, so I highly doubt it ends up being a cakewalk 1st half.

Against the Saints, I'd like to see the D continue to get pressure by bringing 4, and test out the running game with Henry and Johnson. Then let DanO throw the pigskin around when he gets his turn.

The difference is we didn't have Cush or Pollard to knock the piss out of them.

It's pretty amazing how 2 players can make such a big difference.
