Being that we’re the worst team in the AFC South, are we or should we be happy for the Jaguars?

Thinking Tom Coughlin was the Jags biggest off-season acquisition.

    Replacement GM thread

Think that's the traditional way of doing it. McNair may have had to step in and hire Wade if Kubiak was still doing the nepotism thing with his DC's. Kubes probably wanted to give his guys a chance, only problem was he ended up with two DC's in Bush and Smith who didn't pan out.

    Selection 2.33: Xavier Su'a-Filo OG

Doctor humor, nice. I always look for a smile and a big thumbs up from my turds, though if that dudes wearing shades I'm going in for a colonoscopy and probably emergency surgery.

Me too, however reality is usually a kick in the nuts.

    All encompassing Rick Smith thread

Well considering RS is Cal's kids god-father, I think that ship has sailed (a long long time ago) on if he talks to the McNair's. Unless RS completely steps away from his GM duties and the Texans organization I think you may be disappointed in that regard.

    All encompassing Rick Smith thread

Kind of weird that there's interest in wanting to know the behind the scenes drama with this. To much interest in other peoples personal business. RS bowed out gracefully; it suited him and the McNairs with out having to get fired. Guess this is what we get in the voyeuristic world we live in...

    Playoff Hunt Thread

Jacksonville beat us and looks like they might have their stuff together, The Colts beat us and they're the worse team (arguably it's the Texans) in the division, and Tennessee we stomped. All I'm trying to say is even though it's the crappy AFC South, the Texans are not guaranteed a win against...

So, what’s there to look forward to now?

It's certainly frustrating to watch game after game.

So, what’s there to look forward to now?

Ya know, I was going to throw screen in there as well. However I thought they had some recent success with it after years of futility. I'm talking RB screen, not WR screen. The WR screen for some reason they struggle with a lot too.

So, what’s there to look forward to now?

Houston is where the draw play goes to die. I see other teams execute it. For whatever reason the Texans suck at it - regardless of the coach or players. It' kind of weird how the Texans have always sucked at executing it.

Texans have same record as Denver, Pittsburg, Ravens, Raiders, and Packers

I'd agree on the offensive side of the ball. However, they seem to have regressed or not shown any improvement on either side of the ball. Special teams included. Coaching too.

Texans have same record as Denver, Pittsburg, Ravens, Raiders, and Packers

Oohhh, so that's what I meant by what I wrote. Thanks for translating my own words to me. So by what you say I think that I think I said I can apply the same logic to what you wrote: In that your perfectly fine with the same ol' sh*t we've been seeing for the past 4 years? Got it. Now that we...

Texans have same record as Denver, Pittsburg, Ravens, Raiders, and Packers

Nowhere in any of my posts did I say SB or bust. It's not a travesty when they lose to a better team, we are all used to it. However, let me know when they beat a better team. How often do the Texans fart around with average or below average teams? Sundays game against the Colt's is the most...

Texans have same record as Denver, Pittsburg, Ravens, Raiders, and Packers

I've asked myself the same exact questions as you. Brock looked way more confident in Denver, why not now? Why isn't Miller seeing the holes like he did in Miami? The OL, is a product of being overlooked by management. Why does our defense, which was supposed to be a strength look utterly lost...

Texans have same record as Denver, Pittsburg, Ravens, Raiders, and Packers

I'd say right now, there are around 11-12 teams playing good or better football. I get what your saying, hopefully the Texans hit their stride and start playing like we all expect them too. I just don't see it, not with the way they play down to the competition and just the bad looking...

Hey, whatever you gotta tell yourself that things are gonna be alright.

Texans have same record as Denver, Pittsburg, Ravens, Raiders, and Packers

4-2 means jack with the way the Texans are playing. It's not like they are that far away from being 1-5. I like the way 4-2 and sounds; it just doesn't have the meaning it should (for me personally). I've watched to much bad football from the Texans this year to be comfortable with it. I do not...

    OK.. WHO LEFT?!?

I'm a real fan too. I watched the game in reverse. Didn't bother with the first 3 3/4 of the game. Started watching the last two drives and overtime. Do I still get credit for sticking it out until the end? I hope so; otherwise not sure how I can continue carrying on with life if I don't get...

    Game 6...Division Game 2...Indianapolis Colts!

Also, they're last in rushing TD's with ZERO through 5 games. I'm not seeing a winning formula here.
