well i think morlon has the talent to be good but i don't think his talents really translate to the field as well as casserly and capers thought it would...remember when he was in miami he seemed to be a solid LB but i think we're seeing that his production was due to teams running away from...
i think the chances of us drafting levi brown are actually pretty high...i don't believe kubiak sees jordon black as a starter in this league at the LT position...maybe another position but not LT...spencer is still uncertain if he'll be back and in what condition...so drafting levi brown is...
i totally agree with drafting a LB late in the draft...none of the FA guys we've signed are considered long term solutions to either of the outside positions so getting a guy who is young to develop isn't a bad idea...just a name to throw out there for this is thaddeus washington from...
i like abiamiri but i would absolutely love it if anthony spencer fell to us in that scenario in the second round...kinda even when comparing him to tim crowder...not sure which one i like better...i think victor is the better athlete but crowder i think is more polished as far as DE is concerned
if you take out mcknight out of the WR picture since his nickname in the pros will be mcdrop i'm fine with everything you got...however everything i've been hearing in the papers, other mocks, radio, and anywhere is pretty much saying that we're going to go offense with the first pick...which is...
maybe they're trying to get as much competition as possible for the outside positions so they can cut whoever is slacking...maybe morlon greenwood is on the chop block due to his high salary as well as wong...maybe they don't want polk back...maybe they just want to see how good LB's can make...
i figured since we have an expectation thread for matt schaub our new number 8 we could use a expectation thread on our former 1st overall pick last year.
so what is everyones expectations for mario this season?
i want to see him be the dominant player he was at college for a good portion...
really you don't consider the offense that USC and LSU run as a version of the WCO...several guys on the NFL network like Mike Mayock have said that they do...there are several versions of the WCO...some run it like my guys up at Tech...some run it like Coach spurrier does in south...
landry is the best DB in the draft...nelson isn't that close of a second either...with nelson being so skinny you can't expect him to really help in the running game with a big RB...landry you can
if landry is there at 10 i'm probably not trading down...but if he's not i'm definetly trading...
if i'm rick smith...i know that i'm gonna try and tade down...if they truely believe that the #2 WR is the most glaring need on this team then the guys i target are guys who i feel fit the WCO best...those are not going to be just speed guys those are going to be guys with the ability to sheild...
it's a good move for both the franchise and the city...the saints need new orleans just as much as new orleans needs the saints
don't care what anybody says about their fans over there...they've supported that team for years even though they've only been good the past 6 years off and on
i haven't forgotten but i'm still not worried...why worry about another team when our own team has enough unknowns to worry about...i'll worry about the colts the two weeks we play them...same with any other team...whether they are in our division or not
good...get him outta the NFL...the guy hasn't learned his leason the 4th, 5th, 6th,....whatever time this is...so i think the commish. needs to come on hard on pacman to send a message to the rest of the players...while he's at it...send another harsh one to chris henry...tired of that guy too
well keep in mind that's why the team has brought in shawn barber...who i think has the best chance of beating greenwood out...and i also believe somewhere in round 5-7 they'll draft another LB who can be developed to take over that position...i don't really have a problem with greenwood...i...
well what you have here is the fact that it was gonna be hard for any coach to get the job last year without taking on david carr as the starter...mcnair wanted to see what david could do with the right coach and with a good set up around him...david deserved that...he got that this past season...
denver is trying to trade him but he just failed his physical so there is some medical issues with him now
lavar arrington is now considered to be one of the walking wounded in the NFL...he has way too many injuries right now to consider
well now that it's official i'm glad he's back...i totally agree with vinny on jameel cook...we already have another fullback on the roster with robert douglas...there is no garentees in the NFL but i wouldn't expect us to keep two fullbacks that would equal 2 million on the cap...not a big time...
