It also looked like he was a bit faster than what i remembered him to be. I really think he could help us out with pass protection and catching Carr's dump offs.
Brian Leonard (Rutgers FB) - 6'1' - 224 lbs - small for a FB, maybe a better fit in a one back offense
The announcer said he lost 10 pounds to prove to scouts that he could play halfback.
I think Stanton is the guy we're looking for. He can push Carr from the start and will eventually become a very productive QB. The biggest thing I see from him when watching his games is his will to win, which is what we need on this team.
Enough of this Kolb talk. If we're going to go quarterback in the draft I say Drew Stanton is the guy. He's running the show now at Michigan state with no help. Plus he has better intangibles than most of the quarterbacks in the draft.
The key to beating the Jets is just getting in Pennington's face he gets rattled easily and is a lot less effective after a few big hits. Also, we shouldn't have to worry too much about the deep threat because Pennington has one of the weakest arms in the league. Offensively we have to get the...
I agree with most of you in that we need to build our defense through the draft. Personally I think the secondary is the weakest part and with where we should be picking come april i'm pretty sure that we'll be giving Laron Landry a long look. Then in the Second round I'd go with Paul Poslusney...
let me start off with saying that i'm a huge penn state fan and watched every game over the years. This guy was hands down the best player on the team as a sophmore, he's tough and never takes a play off. if some of you are concerned about the injury, you shouldn't be it didn't require surgery...
don't be shocked if the G-men take a long look at williams considering tiki is getting up there in age and has told the team that he wouldn't mind them taking a RB in the first round
i'd be really excited if we did this, and according to Kiper's new Mock it's entirely possible except for he has Kiwanuka going to the seahawks in round two.
1.) Reggie Bush
2.) Eric Winston
3a.) Mathias Kiwanuka
3b.) Ko Simpson
4.) Alan Zemaitis/Eslinger
