I was and am furious with that boneheaded call as well.
You're gaining yards in big chunks on the ground and you put the game in the hands of one of the worst QBs in the league?
Moronic.
Kubiak after his first game: 0-1
O'Brien after his first game: 1-0
Kubiak after his second game: 0-2
O'Brien after his second game: ???
I like Kubiak on a personal level.
I like O'Brien on a personal level and I respect the hell out of him already as a HC.
According to at least one source, Mallett scored a 26 on the Wonderlic.

Dan Marino, according to at least one source, scored a 15.
Marino Wonderlic
Couple that fact with the fact that he's never really had a legitimate #2 wide receiver to take pressure off of him and it's his numbers are downright astonishing.
I don't dislike David Carr, but I don't respect him either.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that your success is commensurate to the work you put in.
A twelve year old kid with his first job at the ice cream parlor could tell you that.
I recall John McClain stating...
Do you know this for sure?
I would think Dom Capers, Chris Palmer, and Charley Casserly would have rubbed off on him by osmosis if nothing else. Say what you will about that brain trust but they all have Super Bowls in their resume and each of them knows and knew the kind of work it takes...

I'd rather have him take himself out of a game than pretend he's healthy and only...
I heard a great take from a caller on the radio yesterday. Really put Schaub's shortcomings into perspective.
Does he have a big arm? No.
Is he mobile, can he extend plays? No.
Is he good in the red zone? No.
Is he a great leader? No.
Is he a playmaker...
