I decided to tune into the Texans game because of the rain delay in Kansas City. And what I'm watching is pathetic. I didn't even know Matt Hasselbeck was still playing football. If you can't beat a 40 year old QB and a weak defense then I guess the battle for the #1 overall pick is on. Maybe...
I'm actually looking forward to it. We'll finally get a peek into the way the Texans operate. I don't think cameras being there will be a major distraction and it's a lame excuse. These guys are used to having the camera and mic shoved in their faces on a daily basis and besides there are...
Hey I like what O'Brien is doing with the Texans even when we were struggling last year there were signs of good things happening. But I don't buy the Mallett/Hoyer taking us to the next level. I'll believe it when I see it.
If I'm JJ Watt, I'm practicing throwing the football during the offseason. It looks like he might have to play offense and defense for us to have a shot at the playoffs. Mallett and Hoyer as the QB for the Texans?! YIKES!!!!
If the season is over I hope it's really over. The team needs to tank and draft a qb with their #1 pick. They won't have the first overall pick but it should be high enough to get a real talent at the position. I haven't watched every single game but I've watched highlights, read and heard...
Glad to hear some emotion from the head coach. I like Bill O'Brien and what he's trying to implement here. I just think he's going to need this year and possibly next year to get it going.
This was a 2-14 team last year. What did you all think this year was going to be like? Coming into the year most people I think had us pegged to win 4-5 games. I like what O'Brien is doing with this team but it's going to take time. Luck and Colts are too good at the moment.
I'll take Brady any day. I don't care if he's 70 y/o and in a wheelchair. He's still better than anyone we have on the roster and needless to say one of the greatest to play this game. And in Houston he'll have a good receiving corp to throw to for a change.
After last season's debacle I'm no longer following the Texans as I used to. I followed the draft but after that I pretty much ignored anything Texans related. I'm not following training camp closely and I don't know what's happening with the team on a day to day basis like most of you do. Also...
I didn't think it was boring at all. Sure Mike Smith isn't the most charismatic guy, but it's really about the interactions between the players that I like to see. And it was cool seeing Steven Jackson trying to be a leader (I don't know how genuine it was) and watching the rookies try to find...
