I'm not directing this at you whatsoever, but I wish I would have seen statements like this after K2 got in his accident.
Sadly, there was nothing but ridicule and jokes.
Running the 100m doesn't directly relate to football speed (you'll rarely run that distance without any cuts). If anything, the hurdles are more relevant because they focus on pure speed mixed with explosiveness and agility.
Jeff George? I never knew anyone thought he was good.
In fact, where are the people that thought he was good? Because he was the #1 pick means nothing, we all knew he was garbage.
Doesn't suprise me that this comment came from you. You have to be the worst poster on this board. The most childish and foolish poster can actually think someone like Flutie is overrated.
When the Colts finally beat the Pats last year, I was in eutopia, untill Flutie came in. I was almost hoping Doug would have lead some sort of amazing comeback. No matter how much it would have killed me as a Colts fan. I have never been able to root against the man.
He is the biggest image...
LeCharles Bentley is also petitioning the league to wear #00 for the browns.
But really, teams are eventually going to retire too many numbers and put themselves in a corner, so why not just let the runningbacks go into the single digits now?
Doesn't bother me too much.
Maybe you're not understanding what I was responding to. He was implying that Sims was the reason for Peppers college success, not the other way around.
Manny Lawson made his own plays in college. He was definately helped by Williams, but he wasn't the chump that Ryan Sims was.
Um, that doesn't help your point when you see that Ryan Sims is a complete and utter failure when he has more than one man focusing on him.
Julius Peppers made Ryan Sims.
If you do go back to playing the 4-3, than it's very realistic to say his impact will be measured in sacks. He has all the tools to be a big time sack artist, not a big time pressure guy.
Watched him in HS and am a Sutton fan, he's really an Anthony Davis style of back. I like to see the Youngstown area guys do well, and in college he probably will.
As for the NFL, who knows.
He was the pass catching TE for the Badgers, the other TE was in there as a blocker, but when you wanted to pass, you throw it to Owen.
I watched PLENTY of Badger games, believe me, he's a good pick.
