    How ignored are the Texans

I agree, to a point. But jeez, Pittsburgh wins a few games, and they're anointed the best in the AFC. We manhandled them and it seems to be lost in history

    How ignored are the Texans

Not that I'm saying we're being ignored by the national media, but how can we totally (mostly) dismissed in all the analyses of who might be a contender... I'm happy and pissed at the same time. Love to be the unknown, but pissed that no one sees the quality of the Texans

Texans 10th most valuable team in the world

You'd think that with all that wealth, we'd have gotten a decent gift for getting season tix this year.....

    Tickets came in

A lanyard with a leather pouch to hold your ticket. The pouch looks like it was made by a first year leatherworking class, stitching is very amateurish, cheap plastic cover.

    Tickets came in

I can bet that this year's gift will just about never get used.....

    Orange Lot Tailgaters

I've been in the OL since first game 2002! We (4 guys with 4 spots) usually hang out close to Light pole 11. Hope that maybe this year we will finally get enough port-o-johns to cover the need. The wife refuses to go to the games anymore due to the lack of sanitary conditions... :stooges:

    Houston Texans 2009 NFL Draft

The Texans are finally in the position that they can move down in the draft and still get the players they need. If we trade down, we get extra picks and we can do excellently. This may be even better than the 2006 draft. We're poised to gain lots of ground

    Saturday's broadcast

The big question is, will it be in HD this time? :stooges:

    Without Dunta...

Even the best secondary gets beat when the QB has 7-8 seconds to throw. The D line looks like they get winded by the end of the first half and are not the disrupting presence they need to be. :stooges:

Texans @ Jaguars Live Game Thread

Jags are allowing Fred Taylor to decide if he is capable of playing. (according to ESPN) Weather shouldn't be a factor, 80 and relatively dry (that's good for a dome team in J'ville). :stooges:

Thoughts on why Okoye is our Sack leader ?

Most teams have still be keying on Mario and so Mobi was somewhat under the radar. What with him being only 20, most O-lineman thought they were going to be able to school him pretty easily. As the realization sinks in that he's the real deal and he gets more double teams it will open up the...

    Turf at Reliant

Last year we had issues with the field being less than good in the south end zone area due to the fact that it never gets any direct sunlight. I haven't heard if they fixed the problem by adding new grass there for every home game, but the Orange parking lot seems to be growing a lot of "field"...

    How about Amobi!!

He is definitely a disruptive force on the line! And, if you might recall, ESPN called it our worst pick of the draft! :stooges:

To all the fans who have been there,

Even though I'm a newbie here, I've only missed one game since their inception; the Minnesota game, and that was because I won a vacation to Jamaica. If we win next Sunday, I predict that the walk out of the stadium will surpass the one from the 19-10 Cowboys game (and that is my most favorite...

Do we stand a chance against Colts without AJ?

The way to beat the Colts is to rattle Manning early. If the D can get in and keep him off stride, and we can continue our ball control offense, we have a good chance even without AJ. :texflag:

    Thoughts on Texans vs. Panthers

Can you believe it? We gave up ZERO rushing 1st downs today! What a performance!

    Overheard on ESPN Radio

Jaws was the only "expert" that picked us to win, guess he knows his stuff!

    Back for a minute

Interesting note; the Texans haven't lost since their last meeting with Indy, and the Texans gave Indy their last loss. Sunday's gonna be a Clash of Titans (no pun intended)! :stooges:

    What's with CBS?

:wild: Why can't CBS broadcast the Texans in Hi Def? It's only one of the biggest money makers for the network. Fox, NBC, ESPN, NFL network all broadcast ALL their games in HD. CBS seems to have 2 games only. I'm tired of not being provided the same quality as all other teams.
