What about College Station?

Why not play NMF or Sunday game at College Station ? Here are some reasons.
A. It is less than an hour away from Houston.
B. Has a stadium that seats close to 100,000 people
C. Kubiak and the Texans have ties to A&M
D. Hmmmm would a bunch of aggies with nothing to do on Sunday( or Mon) attend another football game, especially if its their team?
E. The environment of the 12th man would guarantee us a win.
 
How about this is why:

McNair said "No" to any place not named Houston.

I just don't get it, I guess. Our team needs to move on. Taking our bye week now is so stupid in the long-term aspect of a grueling season.
 
Who cares about football right now? Most people are worried about fixing damage, getting water, getting power, etc. I'm pretty sure nobody got any sleep last night. Football shouldn't even come to their minds right now. This is a very serious disaster. It wouldn't even upset me at all if the Texans said straight up that they forfeited, hypothetically of course.
 
I go to TAMU, and everyone here is a cowboys fan. EVERYONE. The mall has a freakin Dallas Cowboys fan shop. I don't know if the fans would be pulling for us as much as just wanting to see some football.

It would have worked though, since we (Aggies) didn't have a game this week.

There is a Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop (usually empty when I walk by) in Katy Mills... Doesn't mean anything.

If by "doesn't mean anything" you mean has enough customers to constitute a store entirely devoted to Cowboys merchandise and stay in business, then yeah, it doesn't mean anything.

The "environment" of the 12th man doesn't even guarantee the Aggies a win.
