Being in Denver there are a lot of antiCharger sentiment around. But yeah, the CHargers got hosed.

Which of course means the Broncos will get hosed on calls in the game in SD. Welcome to the wonderful world of makeup calls.

Basically the Broncos are down 10 on the SD 2. 30 or so seconds left. Cutler clearly fumbles the ball, ref blows whistle and calls it an incomplete pass. SD challenges. Ref admits its a fumble, but because he blew the whistle(a mistake), the ball stays with Denver and is spotted where the fumble landed, the SD 8. Denver throws a TD, goes for it and gets the 2 point conversion.
 
Cutler is incredible.

but he doesn't win games like Vince Young. i mean, just look at their collegiate careers.

close they were down seven and went for two, if that was the Texans getting screwed I would be FURIOUS right now!
 
yeah, but you had 3rd and goal from the 10, you gotta make a stop. They got screwed, but if they stop him on the 2 pt conversion, they win. They also let him oblitorate their secondary, so no bitchin.
 
Seriously, probably the worst officiated game (mainly due to those 2 calls) since the Super Bowl between the Steelers and Seahawks.

No bitching? BS, they got screwed, pure and simple. Its the NFL, they're pretty damn good players, all, and if you give them enough chances, odds are, they're going to convert. League owes the Chargers an apology.

Eh, sometimes thats how it goes. You still have to man up and actually cover a WR eventually. People get screw jobs, and all you can do is go out and make a stop. 3rd anfd goal from the 10 and 4th and goal from the 4 you have to step up if you're one of the best three teams in the AFC, which SD should be. Then, you for damn sure have to stop a 2pt conversion. Bottom line is times like this dictate what kind of team you are, the one that steps up through adversity or the one that breaks. Who is SD now?
 
I'll never speak positively of SD after last year, but that was the worst call I have seen since maybe Mike Renfro. It's one thing to get it wrong, but to then get overturned, but still not get the call right?

I'm too tired to check., but I bet the Charger boards are fun theater right now.
 
The fact that the replay system decided not to work randomly didn't help matters either. Thousands of people at home can see the play at home but the officials can't. LOL. What a mess.
 
that "whistle was blown" is the biggest cop out I have ever seen to protect the zebras for stupid calls
