i've got us going 9 and 7 and finishing second or third in the division but missing the playoffs. to me the key is that we sweep everyone in our division except the colts but it doesn't account for how the other two teams do outside of our division.

Did you see the Colts? Harrison has lost a step. Gonzalez didn't look crisp at all. Their defense was flying all over the place at nothing in particular. I think at home, they are definiately beatable.
The Bears are also beatable. Especially by week 17. They will have tons of guys on IR

Peyton Manning was obviously rusty........by the time we play the Colts, Manning is going to be firing on all cylinders. Also it doesn't matter if Harrison has lost a step, because our corners can't even take a couple of steps before they trip over themselves........our secondary sucks.
After watching our defense's performance in the preseason and now in week 1, I don't see how anybody could predict this team to win 10 games this season. We have absolutely NO RUNNING GAME and we can't stop the run (can't stop the pass either)........that's not really a formula the screams "winning/playoff team" to me.

Dude, preseason is what it is...preseason. The Pitt game was one game against a very good team at their home field. Let's all just make like Fonzies and be cool. Wow, I think I just had a flashback to 2005.....
The "preseason is preseason" excuse doesn't fly with me. Not being able to make basic tackles, being completely out of place in coverage or just blowing basic coverage, not being able to stop the run, and not being able to run the ball, aren't things that can just be excused as "it's just preseason".
I have seen nothing from this team thus far that warrants "ten win season" predictions for them, sorry. They will be lucky to get back to the 8 wins they had last season, all I'm hoping for is that after this season they finally address the coaching issues on the defensive side of the ball.
