If it's serious they just went from a SB contender to barely a playoff contender.

I wish the best for him and the millions of fans around the nation that invested in him in the first round of a fantasy league.
 
Damn. I wish the Pats had signed Carr in the offseason. Would have been nice to see that franchise with that douchebag head coach suffer
 
I have read that they have the easiest schedule in the NFL this year...if he misses any time it might not hurt them if that's the case.

well they got the bills and dolphins in their division, so that's 4 "give me" games right there.........
 
What do you get when you combine the Superbowl loser curse and the SI curse? No hope whatsoever. Brady getting hurt is just the tip of the iceberg.

I think it was dumb enough to play him when his foot had a crack bone anyways. Once again BB, you screwed up.

I know I read that somewhere..you know they have stats and items on everything these days...it said the Pats had the easiest schedule! And the Texans had one of the harder ones....

Sources: Brady done with severe knee injury



New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to miss the rest of the 2008 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to a source familiar with the injury.

While New England coach Bill Belichick said in his postgame press conference that he had no update on the status of Brady’s injury, two sources indicated it involved serious damage to the knee.

“It’s bad,” a team source said. “We’re going to have to play without him.”

Brady was hurt as he stepped up in the pocket to make a throw to wideout Randy Moss. Chiefs safety Bernard Pollard, who was on the ground, lunged forward and struck Brady’s leg, which buckled as he released the ball.

Brady was helped off the field and was later led down a staircase by team officials, presumably to undergo tests.

Fourth-year quarterback Matt Cassel, who had thrown just 39 passes in his career before Sunday, replaced Brady and completed 13 of 18 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown. Cassel, who backed up Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart at USC, hasn’t been a starting quarterback since high school. He won a competition with Matt Gutierrez during the preseason to retain the job as Brady’s primary backup

Wow. That sucks for the Patriots and their fans. If this(losing Brady for the year) is the case the AFC just got weaker.
 
i made sure to stay away from brady and manning.............i got Indy not making the playoffs cause of injuries...........NE's not making the post season now..........that defense is mediocre, and that offense just got a lot less deadly........
 
Man, glad I didn't have a higher pick in my fantasy draft because I sure would have picked him. No way the Pats win six games this year.
 
i think they'll finish around .500..........cassell looks okay, and they still have Moss, Wes, and the "genius" as a coach......
 
I actually think the Bills will take the AFC East. Remember, Farve still has the Madden curse tailing him.
 
I think what really happened here was Favre caused the injury. He has the power to deflect the Madden curse to anyone else because he IS the God of football and will have his bidding done.
