Why I hate NFLN...

They never show any damn games!

Example - there are a ton of games on today at 8pm EST. Instead of airing one or bits of all they are showing Dolphins Cheerleader stuff from 7pm-10:30pm followed by half an hour and a half of NFL GAMEDAY. Finally at midnight is the first game.

Seriously - who is the fool that works the scheduling? I'm sick and tired of the same handful of shows and limited re-airing of games. They didn't play our game last week but we do get aired this week at 9am EST tomorrow.

See, for those of us with normal schedules, we're at work right now. By the time we get home, we catch All Access and then a re-aired game..
 
NBC has the Jags/Skins game tonight on national TV. Contractually, the NFL Network cannot broadcast a game until that game ends.

Of all the things on the NFL Network, the re-broadcasts are my favorite.

It's the same reason why ESPN used to broadcast ice skating when ABC had the Monday night game. Very few football fans would watch NFLN when their local team is playing on another network.
 
I've seen a ton of preseason ball so far. DVR....i tend to watch the NFLn on demand (to steal a phrase from comcast). I treat it as pull TV instead of push TV. I just look ahead and record everything I think I may want to see and pull it when I'm ready. The NFLn is just about the only network I watch outside of news and an occassional movie and perhaps some Seinfeld and Two and a half Men. :pirate:
 
Even if a game isn't on the local channel - these fools are either showing Total Access or Cheerleader re-run (which was nice the first 300 times).

Local team shmocal team - I don't want to watch the Redskins or the Ravens.

PLUS - Being a Sunday ticket guy I feel like I should be able to watch all the preseason games. They have a whole block dedicated to them. Just start airing them; preferably at a time when people could watch them.

I am also a DVR guy - I hop in DTV site, check when something is on and tell it record. Works wonders when I get to work and remember what I forget to record. hahaha
 
NFLN had some kind of high school all-star football game on Monday night. That was pretty weak. But then again, most networks are pulling out their weak stuff because of the Democratic convention this week.
