I've liked Walter from day one, great hands and route running...I'm glad to see him have a good game and prove he's worthy of the #2 slot, especially after the guy was dogging him on the pregame show. :splits:
 
Hell Yeah! Solid game by my boy Walter, we know he can produce I have to say he is one of the more underrated players in this league.
 
Walter did good and Anderson keeps on working himself into the mix. He's like a smaller version of Walter (Walter could be like "I shall call him, Mini-Me!"

NFL.com just proved my point about Walter being underrated in the league.

The three drives he led resulted in the Texans' first 17 points. His favorite target was Ken Walter, who had six catches for 100 yards, including a 26-yard score that gave Houston a 7-3 lead in the first quarter.

I'm in...he kinda reminds me of ex-Oiler 3rd round draft pick (1980) Tim Smith....Smith is in the Husker HOF and had a couple of 1000 yard seasons here.
 
Kevin Walter is very steady player and very deserving of some praise. I have no concerns when he plays alongside AJ. I am glad that he had an awesome game against the Saints. Lets hope it pushes on into the regular season.
 
The more reps Walter and Davis get w/o A.J. on the field, the better their timing evolves with Schaub and that makes the whole offense more effective.
 
was skeptical las season before the season but always heard in TC kubiak
praising kw, then when the season came and he was consistant and very dependable, he gained my respect, I hope he is our #2 for a long, long time.
we can have a speedguy at #3. he gets open and catches the ball, also blocks his arss off, what more do youwant??
 
baby steps. in this thread our own "super fans" have managed to call him by his proper family name 7 or 8 times IN A ROW! it'll take some time for the rest of the league to come around on kevinS walter.
