From Kubes' quote it looks like Sunday.
Nice. When do they go in pads?
http://www.houstontexans.com/news/Story.asp?story_id=4420(on how often they will wear pads during training camp) “When we do it will be in the morning. I can’t put a number on it right now but it will be the third day before we put them on. I know that.”
"Billy Jean is not my lover, she's just a girl..........
Duane Brown.... after his agent showed him his contract number$.
Effing sweet. That'll be my first day of Training Camp ever. From Kubes' quote it looks like Sunday.
Dude! My first was the season before last (Kubiak's 1st year) and if you love football like I do....you'll F'n love it!Effing sweet. That'll be my first day of Training Camp ever.
Seconded.I'm a grammar freak (sometimes). Fix the capitalization on the thread title.
Amen to that brotha!!God, please protect our team from serious injury this training camp...and if it's not asking too much, the regular season (and playoffs).
It didn't sound as serious on HT.com.Oops! Chris Brown misses practice to go to a wedding. Might get fined.
Brown was the only player absent from the Friday morning practice. The sixth-year pro was tending to a family issue.
Im dealing with him (Brown) on a family situation and Im expecting him to be back here tonight and on the field in the morning, Kubiak said.
I wish I could double rep.Seconded.
But if you choose not to, then please inflict our opponents with an equal amount of injuries.God, please protect our team from serious injury this training camp...and if it's not asking too much, the regular season (and playoffs).
Just a still town tackle on a Friday night, lookin' for the fight of his life
Duane Brown.... after his agent showed him his contract number$.
Are you going to pour a bucket of water on him ?Just a still town tackle on a Friday night, lookin' for the fight of his life
In the real-time world no one sees him at all, they all say he's crazy
Locking rhythms to the beat of his heart, changing man into life
He has danced into the danger zone, when a tight end becomes a tackle
It can cut you like a knife, if the gift becomes the fire
On a wire between will and what will be
He's a maniac, maniac on the floor
And he's dancing like he's never danced before
He's a maniac, maniac on the floor
And he's dancing like he's never danced before
Sembello, Maniac
Goosebumps on that last sentence.here is a little bit of info http://blogs.chron.com/nfl/2008/07/brown_the_big_focus_as_texans.html sounds like aj is back.
He is a little to close to that pole. Are you going to pour a bucket of water on him ?
I can deal with the (lack of) capitalization. Now, the extra 0 in the year, that bugs me...I'm a grammar freak (sometimes). Fix the capitalization on the thread title.
Looking forward to it.Will post some pix from tomorrows practice that we take, and some notes of interest.
I just noticed that.I can deal with the (lack of) capitalization. Now, the extra 0 in the year, that bugs me...
This is what the Houston Texans will look like in the year 20,008.....I can deal with the (lack of) capitalization. Now, the extra 0 in the year, that bugs me...

I got goosebumps, but only because I had a real sense of deja vu. It's like I've heard that before.Goosebumps on that last sentence.
Oh yeah....From what I saw today:
-Okam is a giant
-Slaton is a burner
-Bruener can't catch
-AJ is the best player on the team
-Runningback battle is going to be the best it's ever been
Man, I hope not, if so I hope it is minor.I got a note from someone that taylor went down. Any word from attendees?
Looks like Taylor pulled a hammy. He was drained after special teams and then went down shortly after that.I got a note from someone that taylor went down. Any word from attendees?
Cramps, with Green and Brown limited, the young guys need to stay hydrated.I got a note from someone that taylor went down. Any word from attendees?
Shaft, I think it was a cramp in the calf. I watched him after he walked behind the players with the trainer and they were rubbing down his calf. They were also throwing alot of gatorade at him. He'll be ok.Looks like Taylor pulled a hammy. He was drained after special teams and then went down shortly after that.
The trainers went out and helped him off the field right away. Didn't look major at all.
He was there after practice with his jersey and tennis shoes. I don't know where he was during practice.I cannot start a thread about it, because it got moved to here, but...
WHERE IS COLVIN?
He wasn't at the practice, and was one of the main guys that I wanted to watch.
Colvin was over with watching the DL/OL drills on field 2. No pad No helmet. But he was watching.Colvin 58 was out there standing in the back -- no pads or helmet. I was looking for him too and didn't see him until the last 1/2 hour or so.
I sat in the stands mainly where the defense was. I saw mostly DB and LB play, some 7-on-7, special teams and team scrimmage. For those of us who didn't attend the TC session this morning, could you share with us your impressions of some of the players you did observe this morning ?
How did the DLine look? How much bigger is Okam than Okoye (I thought Okoye looked huge last year in comparison to the rest of the DLine)?Let me know if there is anything also that you would like to know. I might be missing some stuff.
