Improved running game has Texans poised for playoff push

HOU-TEX

Ah, Football!
I normally don't listen or read what Clayton has to say, but it's the off-season.

Gary Kubiak is ready for the Texans to make their first true playoff run, and the key word is run. Kubiak hired blocking guru Alex Gibbs to revamp the offensive line and install his athletic, attacking zone-blocking scheme.
Finally, the Texans have options along the line. No longer are they going to patch the line with veteran free agents as they did the past season.

Thanks for sharing HT. This actually is one of the more positive articles I've read on the Texans situation and probably one of the more accurate too. Can't wait for the season to start and see how they perform on the field. I think the first 5 games will tell us alot about this team and where they stand.

Anyway, thanks again! :texflag:

I know, it was actually kind of surprising. Especially coming from Clayton.

We are going the right direction. I can see that all the way from Katy with Heinie in my hand.

Anyone who follows the league can see it. I will not pop a cap in my head if we don't make the playoffs. I just need progress....not regressions.

Thanks for the link . Its nice to see things like this written about the Texans . I sometimes feel though that we are becoming the trendy pick, so everyone can say "I told you so" . I don't mind that though, any props are good props .
