The Texans probably won't get as much of an instant impact out of this class as they have in past years but that is more a product of the improved strength of their depth chart rather than an indictment of this group of rookies. Houston is now getting to the point where they will use the draft to supplement their roster rather than rely on it to provide 5 or 6 starters every year and that is a good sign because it means they're almost ready to be competitive.
