I have heard of a few other teams launching a social networking site for their fans, I am glad the Texans launched one.

Add me if you want same name as I post from.

This is the most excited I have been for a season since 2002.

I don't think it is an either/or sort of thing. It has people on it who would never imagine checking out message boards but are still great fans.

Oh, and for those who are interested, the cheerleaders are on it.

I do not know how they are going to police it, other than people reporting inappropriate content.

I put the marginally inappropriate tasted Birth of the Titans video on there and was politely asked to remove it because it gave people heartburn. I can understand why they might not want soft-core doll porn on their site. So, their standards of what is appropriate are going to be a lot tougher than the sort of stuff you might see on network TV, I am guessing.

By the way, they have an interesting autocensor. Every time you use the word "Titans," it automatically changes the word to "boobans." That caused me to do an actual lol.

"The Tennessee Boobans" does have a ring to it. :cool:

I hurt too many peoples feelings for that board.

My new year's resolution was to not get banned anywhere for a year. Still walking the line....lol

Ruff Riders are for sale and won't be back next year. Maybe moving to Abilene????

Sure wish I had the $$$ to put one in the Merrell center. That first year was a blast.

LOL at the Rump Riders leaving town. Agreed on year 1 at the Merrill Center, met some awesome folks (I miss my friend Gina, have you seen Morris?) but the drama with Blake and Katy split loyalties and that sucked. Still have all my Copperheads crapitola. Cy-Fair was a joke, who doesn't allow drinking IN THE PARKING LOT at a semi-kinda-almost-pro football game in Texas? Bunch of wankers.
 
I just signed up but will have to get used to that site. I guess this is where I ask if anybody wants to be my friend? :tiphat:

Hey mojo, I suggest you reconsider.

Personally, I am not a facebooker/myspace person at all. I am a luddite who doesn't have any idea how to set up that stuff and don't want to keep up with it.

But the nice thing about the imatexan thing is that it can be a place where folks can find your tailgate.

The Texans have phenomenal, friendly tailgating, especially for a team who hasn't been over .500 and hasn't been in existance for very long.

It might be nice for you to set up a quick account, and then set up a group account for your tailgate that says where you set up and has some cool pictures of your rig and your tailgate. I love seeing that sort of stuff.

I signed up for it. Bumped around a little bit but couldn't really figure much out. Well today I went to check my account out and already had like 5 or 6 people wanting to add to "friends" list... Still trying to figure everything out... So bare with me peeps....

That's why I already have a website...I already have a hard enough time keeping that up to date. This would be just one more area that I need to keep updated and I really don't have the time.

Don't get me wrong...I am not against social networking...people like it and that's great. Just not for me.

Yo Bill. You should delete your Blue Crew group, and join the Blue Crew Tailgaters group that has already been set up.

How to join? Click on Blue Crew Tailgaters and click on "Request to be added."
