Dayne train to visit the Titans

Don't know if anyone is interested... Surfing thru PFT and found this. Ron Dayne to visit the Titans today. I thought it would be funny to see him on the Titans when we face them this year and we have Brown.

Holy crap!!!

Michael Buffer: "In the 'baby blue' corner, weighing in at a combined weight of two tons, the backfield duo of LenWHALE White and Ron 'he never met a buffet he didn't like'......... DAAAAAAAYNE"

Classic. If only there was a chance that he could work his way into the starter role, only to run for an average of 2 yards a carry...forcing the Titans and Vince Young to throw the football. It's quite a maniacal plan for the destruction of the Titans offense. Mwuahahahaha!

In all seriousness though, I really wish the best for Dayne who has served our team well enough when he was called upon on short notice.

QFT. I wish him well wherever he goes.

This makes me wonder if Smithiak sent the Dayne train to the Tacks so that he can dismantle their entire starting OL prior to our 1st game against them...

I've always been a fan of Dayne. Sure I've thrown in a few one liners because it comes with the territory. I even was thinking we should have re signed him this offseason for depth purposes, but now there is absolutely no room in our backfield- I like it a lot (Green, Brown, Walker, Slaton, Taylor). Dayne was a very serviceable back for us when we needed him to be- we were building/rebuilding however you want to look at it and he came in and did exactly what we expected from him. make your jokes if you want, but we all knew he was no pro bowl RB.

I'd like to see him go to a good team and get a chance to play. I think it'd be very unfortunate to end up in Tennessee, but he's gotta go somewhere, it doesn't sound like his phone is ringing a whole lot.

But they do have who? Lendale White, Chris Henry, and Chris Johnson? I could see him in Tenn as a back up role or something, but sure hope he goes somewhere else!

Agreed. In an odd sort of way, I would hate to have to cheer against Dayne. As mediocre as his play may have been at times, he's just one of those classic characters that will always have a place in your heart, even if only in a goofy, comical way. Unfortunately, Tennessee looks like the logical place for him to go if they are showing interest in him, their back field is putrid.
