TDs from RB or WR?

Getting caught up in the excitement! Predict which position gets the most TDs this season? If most remain healthy, who would you choose? I think there will be many more opportunities with the players we have now.

That's pretty tough.

I'm guessing RB though, just because of Alex Gibbs and I like the new plethora of talent at that position.

Will be neck and neck imo.

Eh, RB. They get to run the ball and catch it some. That gives them an advantage. Then WR, then TE, then DB.

AJ 3000 will probably lead for TD's if he stays healthy this year. Way too many bombs can go AJ's way.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I think the WR's are going to have the most TD's. Hell we were an 11th ranked passing offense last year, why should that not be as good or better this season?

Someone figure out how many teams had more rushing TD's than passing TD's last season and then answer the question again.

Three (Minnesota, Tennessee, Miami).

Regarding the Texans:

All the RBs, including FBs, had 12 TDs last year.

AJ & Walter had that many by themselves.

AJ will lead the league in TD receptions this season so... I'm going to go with our WR's scoring more TD's than our RB's.

RB's do have more of an advantage though because they are more likely to score rushing AND/OR receiving TD's.

With Kubes stated penchant for a strong running game and with 3 fairly fast RB Brown, Green and Slaton getting mucho carries, hmm RB may go against history and score a few.

Even with Gibbs and a much improved ZB O-Line, I still think the WR's will have more TD's. I am expecting/hoping that the running game will improve alot under Gibbs and will be surprised/upset if it doesn't. If they can improve in all areas of the running game and still have the same passing game we had last year, we will be tough to beat. The key will be how fast the O-Line gels under Gibbs. Should be fun to watch! Can't wait! :wild: :texflag:

Exactly--three teams with no QB (sorry VY). A healthy Schaub or even Rosenfels will deliver more TD's than even a healthy running game. That's the way the NFL works.

How many of those receiving TDs were actually from the WRs and not the TEs or RBs?
