The NFL draft has become a season of its own, drawing almost around-the-clock attention on the Internet and on television for weeks leading up to draft weekend. But as closely as fans and the media follow the draft, there are perceptions that differ widely from the realities faced by team general managers and their staffs. Observer staff writer Charles Chandler talked to Panthers GM Marty Hurney, former Redskins and Texans GM Charley Casserly, and ex-Oilers and Titans GM Floyd Reese to uncover some of the myths.
