Sharper a Texan? Darren that is...

I know I know, this is again a case where some dummy like me brings up a we should get this guy, but what do you guys think is the possibility of bringing in the other sharper
 
No..... absolutely not.... esp. with that ugly contract of his.

He is also on the decline in his career, which is a player we don't want.... 2 declining starters in the secondary is already enough. We don't need a third.
 
maybe if he would come in for much lower pay so he could play with his brother :).. and if he could convince his brother to take much lower pay as well hehehe.
 
Highly Unlikely and as mentioned earlier he is on the deciline of his career and the Texans will use draft to build their team not Free Agency. I also think we have alot of upcoming talent at the safety positions with Glenn Earl and Jason Simmons. Marlon McRee and Coleman are also pretty solid we have alot of depth at Safety's and i dont think we need to bring in another overaged player to add in the rotation.
 
haha na i dont like the idea of bringing the other sharper in, but i do like the post about competing against ya bros, but the play for money not fun, so they dont care as long as they get theirs !
 
Maybe Darren can go to Dallas. They seem to like players in the twilight of their careers.
Next year at this time, we may very well be having this same conversation about Jamie.
 
i could see him going to the cowboys because they need a vet. safety to help those young corners out...and despite being on the downside of his career as ya'll say he still has a lot in his gas tank...i don't see us pursueing him because we dont' have a need for him...yes it would be cool to have the sharper brothers playing for us...but the boys need him more
 
I think it'd be cool and crazy if he went and played for Dallas. It might help them out..lol I also like the brother vs brother..cause i know i'm a girl but when i play my brother in something he makes me work harder. Cause i wanna beat him and i know he wants to beat me.;) lol
 
i think gary baxter would be a great f/a to pickup..but he will be expensive. He already turned down 10 mil signing bonus from the ravens. can double as a corner or a safety. : :heh:

Purely word-of-mouth here, but someone on another MB heard Dan Patrick say that Darren Sharper will only sign with 1 of 3 teams, Houston, Dallas, or Baltimore.

I heard the same thing. Dan Patrick was talking about it on ESPN Radio yesterday.
