Is there a more impressive physical specimen in sports than Mario?

I dont think there is and this isn't thinking as a Homer either. I honestly cant think of anyone else in any sport near his measurables:

6'7" 295 pounds. 4.66 40 yard dash, 10-foot broad jump, a 40.5-inch vertical leap and 35 reps in the 225-pound bench press.

That is just plain beastly for a man of his stature.

I saw the guy at one of last years practices when the team wasn't wearing
pads. The guy has an amazing physique. And his body fat must be in a category of its own for really big men like him in the NFL.
And even though he had tremendous muscular definition and proportionality, the most striking thing about his appearance to me was that he really looked more like a basketball player than a football player.
 
I was behind him in line at Petsmart. We chatted about dogs, he has pitbulls (I hope he has a good fence). Anyway, I can vouch for his physique.
 
I don't know if you remember this guy...Alonzo Spellman. He stood 6' 4" and almost 300 lbs of shredded beef. He was a physical freak for the bears, but bipolar disease took its toll on him.

Wow. I guess I'm naive, but I'm pretty shocked at the homophobia on this board. Silly me. I expect that in the religion forum, but here? Come on.
 
I'd say that Lebron James has the best body for his particular sport. He's almost a power forward playing shooting guard.

I gotta second all of that. A belief that homosexuality is a sin is not homophobia.

Ideally, I'd prefer to leave out both the pictures AND the comments about "gay" stuff.

What about Sean Jones? Not sure how much he weighed or anything.

After meeting Mario after a few practices I'd have to agree he's built like a brick shithouse.

Greg Lloyd was a beast. Couple that with a black belt in karate and you have a deadly weapon.

Maybe someone can talk Mario into taking karate lessons. It'll help with his hand speed.

Exactly, Mario might be that guy for the D-line, but imagine lining up across from this monster as a DB.

Karl Malone would have hurt some people playing football. Would have been a nice DE in a 4-3, or a great OLB in a 3-4.
