Someone here is posturing is own contract position.

And last I checked, Nate Clements, Berrian, and most of the other stupid contracts have done squat for their new clubs. Only Adalius Thomas seemed to pan out for both sides and actually make a significant difference.

I find it hysterical that Berrian got a bigger contract than Moss.

I'll take my chances with a patient GM that emphasizes the draft. And if a franchised DT that has had one great season doesn't like it? Oh well. The door isn't far for him. Let him ruin someone else's cap with his 30M signing bonus next year.

Well, he is coming off a contract year, so economics would dictate that his play should decline. So yeah, they're getting worse :D

Although, you have to remember, Berrian signed his deal before Moss, so while the money the Vikes gave him was ridiculous, at least they didn't have Moss' deal staring them in the face. The Raiders, on the other hand, signed Javon Walker after Moss signed his contract, and they still gave him more guarateed jack than Moss got ($16 million > $15 million), and are paying him the same amount over 3 years (both will receive $27 in the first 3 years). All for a WR that spent 2 of his last 3 seasons dealing with season-ending knee injuries. I think that is far more hilarious! Raiders = dumb.
 
Scumbag Al is right. The Titans are getting worse. They can think Mr. Adams for that. Crumpler is their savior? gmafb. Fisher will still find a way to squeeze 7 or 8 wins out of that roster, but they won't be relevant.
 
Fat Albert is just mad because he thought he was going to cash in on a huge contract this off-season. Instead, they franchise tagged him and if they don't sign him long term - he's actually going to have to TRY AGAIN this season to try to get another fat contract during the next off-season.

I'm pretty impartial, even when it comes to the Titans - but that guy is a fraud. I know most of us feel that way, and I think we're justified. Trouble is, we can't test the theory until he signs a big multi-year contract.
