New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum announced Tuesday, March 4, that the team signed free-agent CB Andre Woolfolk. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Man the Jets have been busy. Makes you wonder if the owner is putting the FO under pressure to win, and to win now.
 
I think he's referencing the entire off season signings so far. They have been throwing around CRAZY money.

Only thing Woolf seems good for is to make Manning to Harrison highlite reals.

Oh and the jets have never thrown around money in the offseason and not had it pan out before :sarcasm:

I'm not saying it's going to work....I'm not really sure to be honest but looks like they are digging themselves a cap grave atm.

I never said that they were making smart moves, just referncing the insane amount of money they have spent and a possible reason why.

actually the Jets and to some extent the Giants have been a pretty frugal team(s) over the years. they don't have the same overpaying illness that the rest of the NY sports teams have.....until this year that is. No surprise its the year after the Giants became the darlings of NY.

They are overpaying for 2nd tier guys similar to Casserley-era Texans FA moves or the Weaver FA signing during the transitional period.
