Please explain

Can someone please explain why McNair increased ticket prices after the team finished at .500 for the first time in team history. I mean, it was a mediocre year for the team.:gun:

The price increase would have come with a 2 and 14 season, It is the NFL
you might not want to pay but there are people who do.

We aren't the only team that had a price increase. The small increases haven't hurt me yet, but when the prices get to high I hope I can sell and get a decent return for my psl's.

Not thrilled about the increase either, BUT (it could be worse):

Detroit Lions raise average ticket price 18.4%

Associated Press - February 27, 2008 6:54 PM ET

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) - The Detroit Lions say higher player salaries forced them to raise their ticket prices by an average of 18.4% for the coming season.

The team says the increase raises the average ticket price by $11.19 to $71.85 for 2008-2009. The Lions say it's the first price increase for most seats since the club moved from the Pontiac Silverdome to Detroit's Ford Field in 2002.

The Lions say the new NFL players contract is the main reason for the increase.

The team says the new average price is very close to last season's NFL average of $71.36.

.500 record is mediocre for most teams.

But, .500 is a great year for a team that has never sported a winning record. :texflag:
