Adam "Pac-Man" Jones?

PHAROAH

Rookie
OK guys I know you guys aren't going to like this but I just say where the Tennessee Titans will looking to trade CB Adam Jones upon re-instatement by commisioner Goddell. I just wanted throw this up conversation but do you think that Adam Jones would be someone to consider bringing in? I know that he comes with a lot of baggage but if he has fixed all of his problems and has cleaned up should we consider trading with one of our rivals and bring in a talented cb who is around 25 years of age is more talented than any corner in this years draft?

I am not proposing giving up our 1st round pick but should consider him since he has so much potential and talent or should we stay away and let the cowboys get there hands on him? :specnatz: :aggressive:

And a 1st rd. pick ?

That shouldn't even be mentioned as the Titans recieving first round compensation for Pac Man is so not in the question...

Representatives for suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Pacman Jones have been told not to expect Jones to be reinstated in the immediate future, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported.

High-ranking NFL officials said in a conference call with Jones' representatives Tuesday that the cornerback is unlikely to be reinstated immediately, sources said. Jones was hoping to be reinstated following the Super Bowl.

Also on Tuesday, the Titans informed Jones and his representatives in a meeting that they plan to attempt to trade him, but Jones can't be traded until he is reinstated.

Bringing in Pacman would be inviting a 10 year plaque from the football God's and Roger Godell .

You have followed the team for a while...what makes you think that Bob McNair would bring in this felon?

I get the sneakin' suspicion he wasn't talking about divisional or a single conference championship.. Pretty sure he meant the 'Big One'.... The Lombardi...

His statement was vague ... I was just making sure everyone here was aware we do have an AFC Championship trophy in our trophy case. :whip:

A Titans fan showing out in a Pac Man thread....

How fitting...

I am also right about the Tinnbreads being the Raiders of the East - strictly from a felonious stand-point.

When the owner of a franchise has low character, then it stands to reason that many of his employees will be cut from the same clothe.

I think McNair would have a hard time bringing Pacman on to the team if he was released and a free agent.

I have a STRONG feeling we wouldn't be trading any draft picks for him.

Raiders of the east and the Bengals of the south.

edit: And the jailblazers of the NFL

Funny!!! Rep.

I get the feeling that if the Titans lose about 3 key vets who show leadership in that clubhouse ... their new DC will be Rusty Hardin .

Right on!! Hilarious!!!! Rep..

Preach the truth brother.... Testify!!! Rep...

Fixed that for you ....

Better that then wasting a pick on a WR whom your just going to dog with endless "he can't catch" or "Man we need some REAL WRs for VY to throw to" or "I don't care that the stats say otherwise, we obvisouly lead the NFL in dropped passes," when we all know it's more the QB's fault then the WRs.

Cause we all know that's going to happen this year, well that or the Titans waste a 1st rounder on a WR.

NFL commissioner still 'disappointed' in Pacman
The Associated PressPublished: February 2, 2008

NASHVILLE, Tenn.: NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said he remains "disappointed" with suspended Tennessee cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones' decision making and that the player might need more time to prove his behavior has changed.

In an interview with The Tennessean following his annual state of the NFL address Friday in Phoenix, Goodell said continued incidents involving Jones have gotten his attention, and that the cornerback has not "demonstrated that he understands the message clearly and that he is making the correct decisions."

"If he needs more time to understand what we expect of him, then I'll accommodate that," Goodell said.

Jones didn't help himself by being in an Atlanta strip club Jan. 3, when an attorney accused him of punching her. She has since withdrawn a request for his arrest. No charges were filed.

"I am disappointed in that," Goodell said. "I have often said that it is actions that speak louder than words, and that you control those actions."

The NFL will review Jones' status after the Pro Bowl.

"I don't think it takes a huge leap of faith to understand that the commissioner is not going to be happy if you keep going back to places where you've had problems in the past," said Manny Arora, an attorney for Jones.

"He shouldn't have been there. It is our fault that we went there. Everybody understood what happened inside was way overblown and not true, but he shouldn't have been there to begin with."

Jones' attorney was apparently with Jones at the Atlanta strip joint. Looks like Pacman is incapable of making ANY decent choices in life........not even choosing his attorney.........

Yep. You know your franchise's best days are in the past now. :gun:

Oh that reminds me .... have the Texans put up the Shammy statue yet with "We are not losers!" in large letters at the bottom?

and are there plans to tear down the Carr statue(notice he needs no nickname ... Carr is a large enough insult)?

you know the one where he is looking off into the distance with a large 7-9 under him. Hair blowing in the wind perfectly combed.

For what it's worth Mr. Clairol made a 24 on his wunderlich ... just saying .

We will as soon as you put that plaque up with the great passing year VY had. He did win an award for the year he had passing right? The only question is will it be in crayon or lite brite.
