how important to keep improving and not step back..(not going to premium guys, and get solid guys)

if we are happy season is over, or if Bob wishes regular season was still going.

Texas bowl and how he liked the results (trying to get purse better and better seeded teams)

astrodome redevelopment (as long as it doesn't interfere with Texan Games)

Hmm.....

Bob McNair on Alex Gibbs ZBS: "they were not premier running backs, but they were good running backs and thats really what we need at this point".

BS- We need a premier running back to really open up this offense. How did we get to 7-9 in 2004 behind Carr? Domanick Davis, at one point in time a premier runningback shut down by injury.

Anything else, Bob? Maybe you want to identify who you're targeting in free agency while you're at it?

really lucky if anybody takes Bob serious as director of football operations, but its nice to know he echoes the general fan base of his buisness empire

My first observation about the McNair interview is that Anna-Megan is
looking better all the time and she now joins Jessica Willey at the top of
my list of local media hotties.
But big Bobbie McNair should be pleased with the Gibbs hire, I know I am and I'm really looking forward to see what he does with the personnel in the Texans offense and in particularly its rushing game.

I LOVE the fact that he brought up coaching staff first when asked what he has been up to since the season ended. Maybe McNair finally gets it.

He also seems to have a good grasp on what happened this past season. Very lucid interview. I also liked that he wants Ahman to stay but he insinuates that he would have to 'want to be here' aka renegotiate his contract in order to protect the team.

I am pretty rough on McNair for a variety of reasons but McNair seems to really have a grasp on where the Texans are heading and what they need to do to improve. I couldn't have said that about McNair when Casserley was here. Rick is probably doing a good job schooling McNair on how to be a good owner as Denver has great ownership and couple that with McNair being a close associate to Jerry Jones only helps him learn the ins and outs of the game. I credit McNair this offseason for letting the organization be proactive addressing some of tehe inadequacies.

With the way Bob was talking it would make you believe that we are looking for a RB in the 1st Round either Stewart or Mendenhall. They both sound good to me. If you listen to what he said he also said that Gibbs will make our O-line better even with the SAME PLAYERS. HINT HINT maybe??
