I've been wrong before, man. He just has to show me in the playoffs before i can truly get on board. Love his story, his reported work ethic, and his attitude is refreshing albeit slightly naive. With great power comes great responsibility. He plays QB for the Cowboys. He kinda flubbed things up imho.
As for the grounding call, the refs said they got it wrong? did they really? are you freaking kidding me? I always thought that you could throw it out of bounds if you were ruled to not be 'under diress'. Just like spiking the ball to stop the clock. I thought maybe they had changed the rule so that whether you were 'under diress' made no difference and that you still had to be outside tackle box and get the ball past the line of scrimmage. That is a huge and inexcusable error by the refs, if they did indeed admit that they got it wrong. I have made a bad call or two during my days of umpiring but me and the crew get together and we will make things right. We don't ever just say 'oh well, sucks to be you' and then admit we screwed up after the game.
As for Jerry, hopefully he watched Kraft celebrate another Super Bowl appearance in the Owner's booth where you belong. maybe he will learn one day. this attitude drove one of the greatest NFL coaches ever out of town...you would have thought he would have learned. i respect that he played Division 1 football in college and has done so much positive work as the owner of the Cowboys, but he needs to let the players play and view from above...I am just bitter because I really wanted the Cowboys to punk New York. Having the Giants and Patriots in a Super Bowl together, just makes me cry.
