Yeah,
I think the air in Denver is getting to me becuase I deicided to put out my first Mocked up Texans scenario scale.
I have Hou and Seattle making a trade. Texans trade: #18(900) to Seattle for #25 and #57(1050). Seattle pays a small premium for moving up.
Seattle: 18(Seattle): Rashard Mendenhall or Jonathan Stewart. They get their choice of RB that they desperately need.
Houston
25(from Seattle):Take the RB that Seattle does not choose, Ali HighSmith OLB(LSU), Antoine Cason CB. I'd go Cason or HighSmith here.
57(from Seattle): If we did not take Highsmith, take Erin Henderson OLB(Maryland). Or if we didnt take Cason, how about Reggie Smith
CB(Oklahoma) or Aqib Talib CB(Kansas). I say CB if we went OLB in round 1 and OLB if we went CB in round 1.
79(Htown) Are you yelling and screaming at me that I have yet to take a RB. How about Steve Slaton? Not interested? How about Kevin Smith from Cen Fla? Happy now? Yeah i thought you might be.
114: Welcome to round 4. Are you about to throw something at your computer screen because I have not taken an OT yet? Take a deep breath and view my choices: Tony Hills OT(Texas) or Carl Nicks(Nebraska). But Awtysst, you might say, Hills is a RT and Nicks might be better off as a RT, how does that help us? Very easy young grasshopper, because I intend to move Eric Winston to his natural LT position and put either of these guys as the RT. Make more sense?
143: Round 5. You know what we really need? I think Vinny said it best when he said we need a two gap space eating DT. Ask and you shall receive. B.J. Raji DT(Boston College). He is 6'1 325-330 pounds of pure space eater. He is my sleeper pick. ANother possibility could be Jason Shirley DT(Fresno State). He isnt nearly as polished but it 6'5 330. Thats a lot of space.
I am just doing rounds 1-5 now.
Okay, rip it!
