San Diego Chargers vs. Indianapolis Colts

Well, one play from scrimmage for +10 yds. for Manning and one Charger laying on the field. This doesn't bode well for the Bolts.

9:13 remaining in 1st quarter, Colts up 7-0. Converted a 4th down conversion as well on an opening drive TD. Didn't see much of Harrison on the drive. Lots of involvement from Addai.

Let's see how the Chargers come out on Offense.

So far, this game looks to be a potential shootout. Both Offenses look to be in synch. Neither QB had really had pressure (to no-block sack on MAnning notwithstanding) applied consistently.

Both QBs at this point (combined)

17/18 228 2-TD 1-Int

It looks like a clinic on how to move in the pocket, find the open receiver and deliver the ball. Fun to watch if you're a fan of Offense.

I didn't see a hold on the Cromartie run back and Dan Deirdorf is hard to listen to because he makes idiotic statements constantly.

2 bad calls really affecting the score in this game. That should have been a TD on that int return by Cromartie.

Agree on Dierdorf, but the SD guy had a solid "takedown" on that return. It's a shame, because I think Cromartie would've gone w/o it.

It WAS sort of a reverse-curse though...seconds after singing Cromartie's priases, he earns it.

we must be watching different games.. that call was bullshit- right up there with travis 'roughing' manning

SD could thereotically trade LT and still have an awesome run game with turner and sproles..

that was greatness

btw is it me or does it seem pretty obvious that indy pipes in noise on 3rd down.. i never really believed in that crap before today (that 3rd and 15 that rivers made a big time throw was really obvious imo.. the noise came from nowhere-no gradual increase)

It looks like the Colts "D" has fallen into the same trap that the Texans have...dropping bunches of defenders into coverage, no chucks at the line and no pass rush.

...on a side note, why the HELL would you have a PP&K presentation while a game is in progress? Isn't that what HALFTIME is for?

 I think so. But at least there was a Texan there.

Geez, if the Colts "D" can't stop the backup RB AND QB of the Chargers...what chance do they stand against the Patriots?

why did Volek quit on the Titans? anyone remember? I seem to recall he was going to be the starter, but something happened...

i think it's official...San Diego has the best offensive line in the league, and probably the most underrated WR's in the league. Volek looked like God out there without LT, and an injured Gates. GREAT game so far.

Saw the writing on the Young j-strap.

Volek began training camp as the Titans' starter but was dropped to third string, behind Kerry Collins and rookie Vince Young, after Tennessee signed Collins shortly before the season. Volek sought a trade and the Titans began shopping him.

This is turning into a great game......San Diego D and backups really stepping it up.

2 minutes left - SD with the ball.

Man, if the Colts go out already... 1st Titans, then Jags, then Colts. Guess it's up to the Texans to rep the AFC South next year, huh?

:texflag:

We'll probably have an overload of pimping Manning commercials if he goes out early. (though I gotta admit, I like the pep talks)
