I didn't realize there was a book about it already untill i saw it at the bookstore today.
In this day and age if you get accused of something its usually either True or it doesn't matter if it's false because people will think it's true until there is overwhelming evidence that disproves it. Even in the court of law if it's dismissed-that's not enough to sway the judgement.
Taking away the Heisman Trophy would be embarrasing for him and would send a message to younger players about this. Some athletes probably will realize that they truly have no shot at winning the Heisman so it may not be that big of a deterrent to them. Taking away wins or Bowl trophies, etc will have a greater effect on young players knowing that their actions will cause problems for not only them but their coaches, teams, school, and basically their alumni.
