interesting that vy is going to be playing. seems like on a wet field he could reinjure himself more easily than on a dry field.

Thats good news for S.D. The Titans best QB is Collins.
 
This is a winnable game for the Titans, but starting VY is asking for trouble. Time to see if he's "all that" or not. Nobody else in the NFL wanted to accept plantar fasciitis (sp?) as an excuse for Mario last year, so why should VY's groin/quad injury be a crutch?
 
Hate to say it, but I'm kinda pulling for the Titans just so the AFC South will have three teams out of four in the divisional round.

Ideally, the Chargers take an early lead with VY in the game and then Kerry Collins comes in to spark the Titans to victory.

Why? The better our division represents itself in the playoffs, the more respect we *should* get for finishing 8-8.

I don't want Young to do well, however, because the pundits will falsely ascribe credit to him for the Titans success. Go Kerry Collins.

I dunno who's gonna win this game, but you gotta give Fisher and his team
credit for hanging in there and actually taking the lead into halftime.
 
not watching this, but he did say "on both sides of the line," which doesn't mean the score would necessarily dictate a destruction.
 
Chambers looks awful. On two plays in the endzone he hurt his team. One the first he failed to bail his QB out by knocking the ball away from Finnegan, and on the other he didn't go up for the ball at all & let Griffin knock it away from him. With Gates likely out for the game the Chargers are going to have a hard time scoring points if Chambers continues to play like he has in the first half. Hopefully LT will be able to get something going in the second half.
 
Nobody is blowing anybody out here. Both defenses are playing the same game - Can your QB beat us?
 
I know it was haynesworth but not sure about the unsportsmanlike penalty, it was within a second of what he thought was the snap count of pushing him down. I could see if it was a de coming around the corner
 
Hayneworth probably cost the the Titans the seven points on that drive with that cheap shot on Rivers.
